How payment works

Sign up firstFill in your details and the work you offer. Nothing is charged at this point.
We verify youYour licence or registration is checked with the relevant body. This takes a few days.
Then you payOnce approved, an M-Pesa prompt comes to the number you registered. Fail verification and there is nothing to pay.
You go liveYour profile appears in the directory and in every hub you qualify for.

All payments go through Lipa na M-Pesa. No cards, no bank details, no standing orders.

Common questions

Do you take a cut of what I earn?

No. What a client pays you is yours. The joining fee is the only thing DigiHuduma charges a provider.

What if I am not licensed?

Plenty of trades are not licensed and are welcome here. Where there is no regulator to check, we assess your skills instead and your profile says so plainly, rather than implying a licence you do not hold.

Does the KES 100 renew?

No. It is paid once when you join. If you later add another hub, your existing verification still stands.

What happens if verification fails?

You are not charged, and we tell you what was missing so you can correct it and try again.

Do I need business access to hire someone?

No. Searching and contacting providers is free. Business access is for organisations hiring regularly and wanting shortlists and saved comparisons.

Can I cancel business access?

It simply runs out at the end of the quarter unless you choose to renew. There is nothing to cancel.
